In the State of Delaware, a Certified Pool Operator® is now required at commercial swimming facilities. CPO Certification in Deleware also creates better swimming pool operators.
In the legal definition, it states: “Approved Pool Operator” means a person who is at least eighteen (18) years of age and has successfully completed a pool operator training course which is approved by the Division.
CPO Certification in Delaware – The operation of every pool shall be monitored by an approved and Certified Pool Operator ®. This person may be part of the pool staff or from a private company and shall monitor the pool as often as necessary to maintain compliance with these legal regulations. The approved pool operator’s certificate issued by the Division, or a copy, shall be made available for viewing by any patron or representative of the Division upon request. The Division reserves the right to revoke the approval of any operator based upon evidence of malfeasance or non-feasance.
