If you are adjusting for more than one chemical, make additions in this order: Calcium, Chlorine, Cyanuric Acid, Alkalinity, and pH. Any adjustments made to chlorine or alkalinity do have an effect on pH. If your calcium hardness and cyanuric acids levels are too high, you can decrease them by adding fresh water.
