APRIL IS EAGER FOR POOLS

Ahhhhh, April! We have officially entered the spring season. We will be starting to see multiple days with temperatures in the 60’s. We are retiring our winter coats and pulling out warmer weather clothing. April brings lots of fun days including April Fool’s Day, Earth Day and National Arbor Day. We are also starting to think about our pools and getting them open.

Eager = Enthusiastic

We know you are enthusiastically awaiting the opening of your pool. But first things first, you need to make sure you have gotten your agreements back to us with your selected date. This is how we get you on the schedule to get the pool open. We need to know when you want to be ready to swim so we can schedule your opening accordingly. In a perfect world, we would show up for your opening and your pool would open clean and clear. But we know that is not always the case. So, we allot time so that we can get your pool ready for the summer season.

Eager = Excited

In addition to being excited to get your pool open, you are also excited to get the backyard ready for all the summer fun you will be having. This includes landscaping, planting gardens, laying rocks, cleaning decks, and maybe even building outdoor firepits or kitchens. It is best to do any sort of yard improvement before opening your pool. The reasoning behind this is that all the associated materials and chemicals needed to perform these other backyard upgrades can easily find themselves getting into the pool. And those items can affect your water clarity, water chemistry, and pool surface. So, by having all those to-do items checked off the list before the pool opening prevents additional hours of work and extra chemicals needed in your pool to fix any issues caused by such backyard projects.

Eager = Dedicated

You can rest assured that we are eager too. Our team is dedicated to getting your pool up and running as quickly and seamlessly as possible. In order to do this, you want to make sure that we have all the necessary items that may have been stored over the winter including handrails, ladders, baskets, gauges, and any equipment that was removed. You also want to ensure that if you aren’t going to be home during the opening that we have the access we need to get into your yard, shed, and/or garage which could include key or code access. Also, please be sure if you have a pet, that they are properly leashed or housed during the opening. This protects both the technicians and your furry friend.

Eager = Enjoyment

 We know why April brings on the eagerness. Ultimately, you want to enjoy your pool as long as possible. And, we want the same for all of our customers. So, know that we are doing our best to meet all the dates and get everyone up and running as quickly as possible so you can kick back and enjoy the pool!
