When Will Winter End?

The groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter, although the temperatures forecasted for the next two weeks look less winter like. Though winter does not technically end until March 20th at the start of the Spring Equinox, NOW is the time to start thinking about what you want your swim season to look like. We all are aware that since the start of the pandemic, supply chains have been limited and prices have been on the rise. That is why you need to start your swim season planning sooner rather than later.

EARLY BIRD GETS FIRST DATE

Your 2023 seasonal contract will be in your inbox and mailbox in early March. We HIGHLY recommend that you sign and return it to ensure the best possible chance of getting your chosen opening week. If you have a heater, you can consider opening early in April which will extend your swim season and gives you a better chance of being swim ready for the unofficial start of summer. As always, be aware that we do not schedule openings the week prior to Memorial Day. So, if it is your intention to be swimmable by then, get your signed agreement in right away. Also remember, that we start the opening process at least two weeks prior to your swim by date.

THE POOL IS OPEN, BUT IT’S NOT?

We get this call all the time. Hey, the crew was here and opened the pool but it is not cleaned or ready to swim in. Please be aware, we have opening crews and cleaning crews. The opening crew is going to remove your cover, de-winterize the pool, and assemble the system. Later, a cleaning crew will come to clean and balance the water. Additionally, if you have a repair that needs to be done such as a leak, pump, or filter issues, that is going to be a separate call and not performed at the opening. We schedule our openings this way to ensure we can get everyone up and running and ready for summer fun!

A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH

In 2023, we are implementing some new policies with our billing for residential clients; if you are on auto charge everything will stay the same.  If you enjoy reviewing your bill prior, payment will be due within five (5) business days of when the bill was sent to you.  We are eliminating check payments except for the deposit prior to the start of the contract.

IF IN DOUBT, SWIM IT OUT

Got questions? Just give us a call if you have questions about the signing up process. Unlike other pool companies that close during the winter, our office is fully staffed all year round. Waiting for summer to come just like you!
